Student development is an ongoing focus at

Miller-Motte Technical College. Academic, occupational, and personal development are encouraged for all students. This emphasis is supported during the student's entire program of study by both academic and student services personnel.

The primary purpose of career development is
to help Miller-Motte Technical College
graduates obtain employment in their areas of specialization. Satisfactory completion of program course work by the student is the first step in the employment process. The Career Development Office provides specific training in various job-seeking skills through the Professional Development course.
The Director of Career Development works with each student prior to graduation to determine areas of employment interest and to explore placement options. Students are notified of appropriate employment opportunities as they arise. Career development is available to all Miller-Motte Technical College graduates. Although it is impossible to guarantee each graduate a job, the Career Development Office works to provide job leads and to send all graduates on appropriate interviews.
Experience indicates that Miller-Motte Technical College graduates are welcomed by local businesses and industry.
